RHYME FOR ALL TIME:
See if you can turn the top seventeen investing quotes of all time into more memorable rhymes. For instance, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest” can become
“To see the most gain, invest in your brain.” BE MEMORABLE: Which is more likely to be stamped on your memory?
HORSE AROUND: Watch Troy (2004). Wolfgang Peterson’s mash up of Braveheart and Gladiator is based on the Iliad and at times seems almost as long as the source material. Still, Peter Travers of Rolling Stone calls it “the best crib sheet guide to Homer ever.” Brad Pitt and Eric Bana wear sandals and loin cloths while fighting to the death as Hector and Achilles, while visual effects artists try to explain that whole Trojan horse thing. Yes, the dialogue is plodding and totally forgettable. Perhaps because David Benioff’s screenplay doesn’t rhyme?
